Drip tape is usually made of high-quality polyethylene (PE) plastic material, which has good corrosion resistance, flexibility, pressure resistance, lightness, and strength. In addition, its surface has a UV-resistant coating. It is usually laid directly on the ground or buried shallowly in the soil. These characteristics allow it to adapt to various complex terrains.

Unqualified drip tapes will have problems such as easy aging, cracking, clogging, and uneven water discharge, which directly affect the service life of the product and the effect of drip irrigation. Therefore, it is very important to learn how to choose a drip tape of qualified quality. Here are some tips for choosing drip tape:
The laying of drip tape is not complicated. You need to plan the drip irrigation area in advance, measure and determine the area of the drip irrigation area, the drip irrigation spacing, the location of the water source, and other data and conditions. And prepare the tools needed for laying, such as drip irrigation valves, drip irrigation fittings, scissors, punching tools, etc.
First, you need to lay the main pipe and branch pipes. The main pipe is connected to the water source to guide the water flow to the irrigation area. The branch pipe is laid perpendicular to the main pipe.
Then connect the branch pipe to the drip tape. Drip tape can be laid by workers or machines. When laying, pay attention to avoid twisting, knotting, and deformation of the drip tape.
After the drip tape is laid, its end can be blocked with a plug of suitable size. Or simply fold the end and fix it with a rope/clip. This can prevent water from flowing out and avoid wasting water resources.
